Monsummano Terme is in the north of Tuscany in the province of Pistoia, near Florence, Pistoia, Montecatini and Lucca.
The town dates back from 1600 and early began being famous for its rich thermal waters.
Nowadays has developed an intense thermal tourism thanks to its 2 thermal caves: Grotta Giusti and Grotta Parlanti.
Both caves are therapeutic natural hot caves, now flanked by modern spas.
Waters are bicarbonate-sulphate-calcium-magnesium.

Grotta Parlanti's waters are at a constant temperature of 34 ° C and there's a continuous replacement of mineral water that gushes from the rock cave. The Waters of Grotta Parlanti are indicated in respiratory, osteoarticular, urinary and gynecological diseases.

Grotta Giusti is differently temperatured: water's temperature increases from a minimum of 27 to 34 ° C and rises in 3 subsequent cavities named "Paradise", "Purgatory" and "Hell".

The treatments provided are baths, mud baths, cave therapy, inhalations, aerosol, nasal douches, massages and whirlpool.
The therapeutic indications are degenerative arthritis, rheumatism, diseases of the upper and lower respiratory tract, skin diseases, gynecological, urinary and cardiovascular diseases.
